Hi! My name is April! I am an education professional living and working in Northern California.

I was born and raised in China and moved to the U.S. when I was 18, and have been living in the U.S. for the last decade.

As I navigate my first pregnancy, far away from home, I want to share my journey and lessons learned through this blog – Roots & Wings – to help other expecting parents, feel more confident about their journey.

In the future, I will also be sharing my journey being a first time mom, parenting, and work-life balance.
